Training Grants
Training Grants
The Timothy L Correll Foundation, Inc invests in Minnesota communities by acting as a private-funding resource for local emergency medical services (EMS), fire services, organizations, and public schools for the purpose of emergency and/or preparedness-related training and education. These awards meet a specific local training need and training must be provided by State accredited instructors/trainers. Please be advised that we do not provide funds for the purchase of equipment.
Grant requests are considered for any of the following: community specific training initiatives, Fire Prevention Week, Emergency Medical Refresher Courses and Recertification, Community Programs, and other needs as long as they fit into an ongoing training program. TLCF reviews training grant requests on an ongoing basis and makes awards based on available funds.
In the last 20 years TLCF has provided grants for training such as auto extrication, combined space, driving apparatus, urban and rural search and rescue, and others; as well as provided funds for fire department community open houses/demonstrations and fire prevention program materials for children in our elementary schools.
